Chair massage

20 September, 2011

A good treatment for people with limited time.

Using a specially designed chair your practitioner will use a routine of massage movements to relax or rejuvenate you depending on your requirements.

What conditions is it used for?

This is often used as an ‘express’ treatment’ to give quick relief to stress or aches and pains.  For more chronic conditions this may help in the short term but your practitioner is likely to recommend seeing them for a longer treatment.

What to expect

Usual time for the treatments is 15-30 minutes so you can fit it in to a busy schedule – for instance over your lunchtime.  Fully clothed and seated in a relaxed position facing forward with the face, chest and legs supported your practitioner will work mainly on the back, shoulders, head and neck.
