Super restore and recharge smoothie

This drink helps boost energy and immunity when feeling low, exhausted.

It’s a great pick-me-up after illness or when your resistance to infections is poor. This recipes makes enough for two – so share the goodness with someone you love!

Ingredients

  • 600ml (20 oz) almond milk
  • 2 bananas
  • 45g (1 ½ oz) rolled oats
  • 45g (1 ½ oz) quinoa flakes
  • ½  to 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp astragalus powder
  • 1 tsp ashwagandha powder
  • 1 tsp organic bee pollen
  • 4 tsp flax seed oil
  • 1-2 tbl agave syrup

Method

1 Soak the oats and quinoa in the almond milk for ten minutes.

2 Pop all the ingredients into a food blender.

3 Blend until a smooth consistency, adding a little water if you prefer it thinner.

4  Pour into glasses and drink chilled.
